Greetings, as the author of the “ARE YOU IN THERE?,” it was an honor and privilege to write this book. “ARE YOU IN THERE?” is not your typical child’s story book. There is a selected targeted audience that this book reaches out to. Originally designed for children to understand dementia in a simple manner, it quickly changed into a mixture of how to cope, how to identify, and how to function as a family dealing with dementia.

“ARE YOU IN THERE?,” quickly took on a life on its own in which it became a guide/framework/version of what to expect and an idea of how to react. With the goal of a family unit to read, function and discuss the journey, asking questions, and knowing they’re not alone.
